Meenakshi Arunachal Power (part of Meenakshi Power) is planning to set up Sippi hydro electric power project ( 3 x 32 MW) in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. The project involves construction of 20 m high concrete gravity un-gated weir across Ringong River (a right bank tributary of Siang River) as run-off-the river scheme. Land required is around 40 ha. An underground power house will be constructed on the right bank of the river.
