Sew Nyukcharong Chu Power Corporation Pvt. Ltd is planning to set up the 96 MW Nyukcharong Chu hydro electric project in Tawang District of Arunachal Pradesh. The project involves construction of 46 meter high concrete dam across river Nyukcharong Chu in the confluence of Magochu. This project will be a run-off-the-river scheme, where the total land requirement is 25 ha. The project is estimated to cost Rs. 5195 million. The project is likely to be completed in 6 years time.
