Arunachal Pradesh government is planning to set up a ropeway infrastructure in Itanagar to boost tourism and connectivity. The Itanagar Municipal Corp is planning to key areas of the city, operating between Lobi in Division 4, the Secretariat, Ganga Market, Chimpu and vice versa. It also plans to introduce electrical buses as a modernization measure.
