Adveta Power is planning to set up a 75 MW Chela hydro electric project in Kurung Kumey across River Kurung in Arunachal Pradesh. The project will be a run-off-the river scheme. The project envisages construction of 20 m high barrage across Kurung River near Tyang village to generate 75 MW of hydropower. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 543.31 million. The company is also planning the 80 MW Chomi Hydro Electric Project across the same river.
