Amulin Hydro Power Ltd is planning to set up a 420 MW ( 3 x 140 MW) hydro electric project in village Midipon in Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh. The project involves construction of 75 meter high concrete dam on river Mathun located 2.5 kms downstream of the confluence of river Andra and Mathun , and a head race tunnel for 7 kms. It may be noted, earlier NHPC has mooted this project in 2003 and has done a desk study. Detailed project report and EIA are yet to be done.
