3F Oil Pal is set to build a greenfield food processing plant in Arunachal Pradesh. The company has acquired 120 acres of land for the project at Roing in lower Dibang Valley. However, the company has to build confidence among farmes to cultivate palm trees. Initially, it will operate with low capacity utilization. The project will entail an investment of ₹ 2,500 million.
With an aggregate acreage of about 35,000 hectares of plantation, the company had recently announced plans to increase the acreage to 1.50 lakh hectares in the next seven years.
